Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a motor-speech disorder where the children have difficulty planning and coordinating the movements needed for speech. Unlike other speech disorders, the children with CAS know what they want to say but have difficulties moving their lips, tongue, and jaw to produce clear speech sounds.
