Save Lake Desire is a community-led effort bringing neighbors together to advocate for the protection of Lake Desire and the surrounding community.

The effort was formed in response to a proposed 23-home development on W Lake Desire Dr SE (PLAT24-0004). Community members have raised concerns about the development?s potential effects on the lake?s ecosystem, surrounding environment, and community safety.

Through this fundraiser, we are building the resources our community needs to stay informed, participate in the review process, and advocate effectively. Funds raised will help cover expenses such as attorney fees, environmental experts, and other subject-matter specialists who can provide professional guidance and expertise.

Purchasing Save Lake Desire merchandise is one way to support this collective effort while helping raise awareness throughout our community.

Any funds raised beyond what is needed for the Save Lake Desire effort will be donated to the Lake Desire Community Clubhouse to support our local community.
