Everly was born at 24 weeks on december 5 2020 and weighed 1 lb 4 oz and was 11.75 inches long. Although she looks like a healthy little girl, her lungs arent. The doctors tried so hard to get her to where she wouldnt need extra suppost and she was doing very well and we thought fantastic. Itnis working. And then they told us that she hit a wall. Her lungs werent getting better they were regressing. They have decided that a tracheostomy and a g tube is what is best. At 6 months old, she will be having her surgery in the coming week.
