Stepping back into the competition arena this year feels less like a repeat and more like a brand-new beginning. Competition last year was a massive learning experience, and it left me with a much deeper appreciation for this sport and the incredible people within it. I?ve been inspired by those who relentlessly push through circumstances that others might see as limits, and it has taught me that resilience is a choice we make every single day. Getting this second opportunity to compete is a gift I don't take lightly.
The design on this shirt reflects that journey. My name means "Little Lamb," but this past year has required me to find the "Lion" within. It?s a reminder that we can be both: gentle enough to stay resilient, but fierce enough to keep fighting.
I?m leaning into Joshua 1:9 as I prepare: ?Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.?
By grabbing a shirt, you?re helping me get to California this July to represent our community at the Adaptive Games. Your support covers the registration and travel costs to get me onto that competition floor, but more importantly, it reminds me that I?m not heading there alone.
Thank you for being on my team and helping me see this mission through.
