About this campaign

About the 2026 Out of the Darkness Walk - Team Bower campaign on Bonfire 1

My father, Brent Bower, died by suicide in 2013. I walk with AFSP in the Out of the Darkness Walks to honor his memory. I also walk to honor the life I never imagined I'd live to see. I live with mental illness and have struggled with self harming behaviors, suicidal ideations and suicide attempts for over half my life.
