On July 16, 2022 the NEW lifeline phone number, 988, will be launching nationwide as a mental health crisis phone number. With the rising rates of suicides, the lifeline support couldn't be more timely.

Where is my donation being used?
"Donations for the Lifeline are used to support the network of crisis centers and to increase the capacity of the Lifeline to accept the ever-increasing call volume. Donations are used to support all aspects and activities associated with running the Lifeline, including but not limited to: using tools and resources to evaluate and ensure service quality and efficiency of the network?s operations; convening experts and researchers to enhance best practices for the network; outreach, tools, resources, and communications to reach high risk groups; and the development of innovative tools that enable individuals at risk for suicide to stay safe and those who care about them to better support them."
