On January 28, 2001, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature established an elite task force to save the planet?s most endangered turtles and tortoises from extinction.
Led by Admiral Rick Hudson, and composed of some of the best fighter conservationists on Earth, in 2005 this corps became its own nonprofit with a reputation for taking swift
and decisive action.
Their mission: Zero Turtle Extinctions
Today, the world calls it Turtle Survival Alliance.
Turtle warriors call it:
Top Turtle
For those in the U.S. Navy and others branches of the U.S. Armed Forces interested in making a transition into the conservation field, did you know that the TSA's Turtle Survival Center
