Car for Ukraine is a Ukrainian grassroots volunteer NGO based out of Lviv.
It buys second-hand pickups in UK and Europe (eco-friendly!), ships them to Ukraine and makes armored modifications before deploying them for frontline logistics, human movement and rescue of injured soldiers. These vehicles save lives, and the soldiers are desperate for more.
Car for Ukraine has a long track record and high degree of accountability and effectiveness, having delivered 800 vehicles as of December 2025. Every donation is transparently linked to a truck delivered.
The 50 States for Ukraine initiative is focused on short-term, rapid-response fundraising efforts. Representatives from each state compete against each other to raise money faster. Help Illinois rise in the leaderboard with your cool new swag!!
