50 Watts Books is a new small press and bookstore with a focus on visually-striking and unusual books from around the world. We commissioned the illustrator Takuya Kawaguchi to design this shirt. It is based off our company logo (designed by Jacob Covey).
50 Watts Books grew (like a mushroom) out of 50 Watts, a long-running archive of forgotten art and books. Our first publications are coming out this summer.
Though 50 Watts has been around in some incarnation since 2007, somehow this is our first t-shirt.
