Since 2018 Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife, LCTW, has been combating the illegal wildlife trade in Laos, rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife. We spend significant efforts building a brighter future for wildlife in Laos through public tours, hosting interns and students, and community outreach. We partner with the government, reporting crimes relayed to us through our National Wildlife
Crime Hotline, 1601.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are now facing the enormous task of relocating our facility, along with all our animals, to a new site on the extensive forested property of the beautiful Nam Pien Yorla Pa resort next to Phou Khao Khouay National Park.
We must raise funds to cover the costs of building animal enclosures for the new center that will serve our LCTW mission to rescue, rehabilitate and release Lao native wildlife. We need a lot of financial support over the next eight months as we move and rebuild. Along with the transportation of the animals and construction of the new enclosures, funds will be needed to build a new wildlife hospital where animals can get their health checked, quarantine facilities for biosecurity, and rehabilitation.
