Cove's FIRST birthday is coming up soon in February! Can't believe he's already a year old, but so grateful. We're not only celebrating his amazing life, but his incredible journey of healing and resilience this past year - and to help with Covie's prior medical expenses from his time at the university farm animal hospital (over $12,000+) last year. After being surrendered from a dairy farm (instead of being sold away, since most baby boys are discarded), Cove spent over a month and a half at the hospital awaiting surgery for an umbilicus infection while dealing with coronavirus, rotavirus, and contracted tendons. Cove is so special, truly one of the most loving and gentle friends. Seeing Baby Cove evolve from falling to the ground in defeat during our days of physical therapy at home, to galloping through the pastures alongside all of his friends has been very emotional and inspiring.
