Is the news out of LSU and Cornell making anyone else insanely angry? ?

At Cornell, a young woman says she was drugged and assaulted by seven fraternity members, and that some of them were allowed to write essays to reduce their discipline. At LSU, a student says the football player found responsible for raping her is back on the field. Two campuses, two women who did everything "right" by reporting, and the same question both times: where is the accountability?

These stories aren't rare. A CDC survey from 2023?2024 found that over 45% of women and almost 17% of men in the United States have experienced some form of contact sexual violence in their lifetimes. That's not a few bad apples. That's a culture that needs more people willing to speak up.
