As most of you know, we have battled infertility since 2021 and completed a failed IVF cycle in 2022. In 2023, I, Ivey, audibly heard the word "Adoption" from the Lord. There have been countless ways that the Lord has continued to confirm that this was the path we are meant to be on. We feel blessed to be chosen to follow this path of the ultimate ministry of adopting one of God?s children just as he adopted us. We are hopeful, nervous, excited, and might I even say a little scared but we are surrendering this process to the Lord and trusting what He has for us. We cannot thank you enough for even considering to give to our cause of becoming parents and helping us start our family through adoption. We are grateful for all the support we have been shown through prayer and positive, kind words. As you can imagine, adoption is expensive; there are agency fees, lawyer fees, potential birth mom (and baby) hospital expenses, and travel expenses. Realistically, of our projected total cost, 30% of that still needs to be met. We thought this would be a great way for us to continue to share our story while helping lift some of the financial burden that comes with adoption.
