Bear is an 8 year old boy, as sweet as can be, who was rescued from Cleveland, TX on January 9, 2022. Residents had watched him grow up on the cruel streets since he was just a puppy at 3-4 months old. He eventually started to grow a huge mass on the side of his face which was later removed and weighed a total of 3.5 POUNDS. It was also discovered he was shot in the face, through the mass. Someone tried to end his life but failed at it. The bullet is still lodged on the left side of his face.

When we felt like we were finally getting through Bear's medical issues, his vets found out he was battling Lymphoma, on top of DCM. We don't know how long Bear has with us, but we are determined to make every day the best day of his life.
