When Maggie was first diagnosed and was admitted to the PICU. I couldn?t sleep monitors beeped all around. She was in pretty bad shape. Swollen from head to toe. We weren?t sure where her story would take us. And in those dark moments of chaos, I sat and created a beautiful piece to show that in the chaos of a cancer diagnosis things can bloom and be beautiful.
