The purpose of Bolt of Lightning is to empower and educate youth ages 12 to 18 years of age to develop integrity and to promote a sense of community through competitive sports and sportsmanship.

We are committed to combating juvenile delinquency by fostering mentorship, promoting equality in athletics by providing opportunities for competitive play as well as increasing access to competitive sports and training for youth in the Twin Cities metro and surrounding communities.

 Through competitive sports training Bolt of Lightning teaches proper and safe techniques. We have had great success in developing youth who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. As well as helping young people build self esteem, develop skills as effective communicators and recognize the value of choosing to be in an environment where learning, inclusiveness, accountability and respect are valued.
