The 21st Century Packhorse Librarian Project is dedicated to bringing hope, comfort, and joy to communities in need by providing free, quality literature to people of all ages. Inspired by the resilience and compassion of the original packhorse librarians of the Great Depression, we deliver wholesome books to remote and underserved areas, offering respite and encouragement through the power of the written word.
