Each sale will support Project HEAL in their mission to make healing accessible to all.
Project HEAL was founded in 2008 by Liana Rosenman and Kristina Saffran. Their mission: To break down systemic, healthcare, and financial barriers to eating disorder treatment to make healing more accessible to everyone.
Rosenman and Saffran met in eating disorder treatment in 2006. After witnessing individuals lose access to life-saving treatment due to financial barriers, they created Project HEAL. Saffran said in an interview with People magazine ?We were really lucky in that our insurance paid for most of our treatment, and our parents could pay the rest, but we saw people who really wanted it and couldn?t afford it and ended up relapsing. So one day, we were talking, sort of idealistically, and we said, ?We should do something,? and we planned our first fundraiser.?
Since beginning their non profit, Project HEAL has raised millions of dollars to make eating disorder treatment and support accessible. In 2025, Project HEAL was able to provide:
- 147 placements with Outpatient Providers
- 91 placements in a Higher Level of Care
- $75,885 in cash assistance to 101 people to support individuals pay for co-pays, high deductibles and travel costs.
Project HEAL believes everyone, regardless of race, gender, body size, ability, identity, or income, deserves the chance to heal. Receiving the support needed to recover shouldn't be determined by one's privilege, it should be accessible to all.
