100% of the proceeds from this campaign will go to the Raymond A. Wood Foundation, supporting their effort to develop an affordable at-home blood sodium meter for AVP-D patients.
If you have AVP-D, you already know, when your symptoms hit (aka breakthrough), there?s nothing like ice cold water, a fizzy drink, cold electrolytes, or a frozen treat. This design is a celebration of AVP-D culture. It?s meant to encourage friends and family to ask questions so you have a chance to share what it?s like living with AVP-D.

Where can I learn more about the Raymond A. Wood Foundation?
The mission of the Raymond A. Wood Foundation is to drive research and advocacy to improve quality of life for hypothalamic-pituitary brain tumor survivors, including patients with AVP-D. You can learn more about their work here and see the latest on the blood sodium meter project here.
How much from each shirt goes to charity?
The shirts are priced so about $10 from each item goes directly to the Raymond A. Wood Foundation (RAWF). The rest goes to printing. The more shirts we sell, the higher the percentage that goes to charity.
When will I get my shirt?
The shirts are being sold as part of a campaign that lasts 21 days, until Jan 28th. At that point all the shirts will be printed in one big batch and shipped. Printing the shirts together helps us cut costs and raise more money for RAWF. Shirts should arrive in February.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping within the U.S. is $5.99 for one item and $2 for each additional item.
International shipping is $11.99 for one item and $4 for each additional item.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping will be handled by Bonfire, and they ship internationally.

How are these printed?
It?s very likely that the shirts will be screen printed with black ink on premium soft shirts and sweatshirts. If fewer people order, they may be produced using direct-to-garment printing. Read more about both techniques here.
What?s Bonfire?
Bonfire is a platform for selling merchandise for charity. It?s based in Richmond, Virginia in the US.
How did you pick the drinks to feature?
I chose the drinks based off an informal poll of the Got AVP-D Facebook group. Thanks everyone for weighing in!
I have AVP-D but I don?t have thirst, what about me?
I?m planning a second design featuring different sketches of AVP-D medicine. I?m hoping that will appeal to folks with adipsic AVP-D! Stay tuned for more.
What?s the difference between DI and AVP-D?
They?re the same thing! AVP-D, or Arginine Vasopressin Deficiency is the new medical name for Diabetes Insipidus. The change is meant to end any confusion with the more common diabetes mellitus which is medically unrelated.
A special thank you to Pat Gildroy and the other admins who run the Got AVP-D Facebook group, where I?ve found community, critical information, and the knowledge that I?m not alone.
