This design, illustrated by Boise State undergraduate researcher Iris Smith, features the iconic Calliope Hummingbird and one of its favorite foods: Scarlet Gilia (Ipomopsis aggregata). The smallest migrating bird on the planet, Calliopes call the mountains of Idaho home during the nesting season. Proceeds for this shirt support the Intermountain Bird Observatory's hummingbird research at Bogus Basin Ski Area.
