Choice Access Team (C.A.T.) provides safety, privacy, and support to patients accessing reproductive health care in Michigan. As pro-choice clinic escorts, we are dedicated to an inclusive practice that is patient centered and de-escalatory.
We believe people should be able to seek reproductive healthcare, including abortion, free of intimidation, shame, and violence. We encounter protestors on a daily basis that attempt to deter and harass patients. With the help of rainbow umbrellas, our volunteer clinic escorts shield patients from the protestors and help them gain safe passage to the clinic.
