October is Dwarfism Awareness Month, and these shirts are a simple way for families, friends, teachers, schools, coworkers, and communities to participate. ?
The design was created in collaboration with Natalee Wright of Wild Is Calling. On the front is the handprint of the campaign creator?s daughter, who has achondroplasia. Her hand shows the wider space between the middle fingers commonly known as a trident hand. It is a small detail that celebrates a recognizable characteristic of achondroplasia and makes the design especially meaningful.
The back brings together words and messages connected to dwarfism, representation, identity, and advocacy. The goal is to create something people can wear proudly while helping spark conversations, increase visibility, and encourage a better understanding of dwarfism.
October 25 is International Dwarfism Awareness Day, making it a great day for families, classrooms, schools, workplaces, and communities to wear green together.
Shirts and sweatshirts are available in sizes from Youth XS through Adult 4XL, so everyone can join in.
