  • Helping seniors and pets stay together, where they belong. Charlie, the rescue pup, started visiting seniors in local communities back in 2019. They would share stories about how much they loved their animals, but sadly, many of them had to give up their cherished companions due to financial, health or caregiving reasons. Our W.I.S.H. is to not let this happen any longer in Mahoning County. Your support can help make that wish come true! Through Charlie's W.I.S.H., we provide:
  • Wellness:? Covers vet care, vaccinations, medication, and nutritional support for pets of seniors on fixed incomes.
  • Independence: Delivers food, medicine, and pet care supplies to homebound seniors, promoting health and emotional well-being.
  • Shuttle: Operates vehicles that transport pets to and from vet or grooming appointments and deliver medications.
  • Housing: Provides temporary foster care for pets when owners are hospitalized or displaced, and permanent care when needed.
