We have very exciting news! We are ADOPTING!

We are all so excited especially our little girl who cannot stop talking about God deciding who her new baby brother or baby sister is going to be.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about our story and why God has lead us to this new exciting chapter for our family.

After our beautiful daughter was born, I (Merritt) had multiple serious medical issues that resulted in me being bed bound for 8+ months. I ended up needing intensive in-patient care, I almost lost my life, and had to relearn how to walk. On top of all that my husband (Jack) was deployed overseas during that time. It was our darkest hour, BUT GOD! Because of the love and care of our support system and the miraculous grace of God, our family was able to recover. During that recovery process, God directed our hearts towards adoption.

They always say ?it takes a village? and that definitely has been true for our first child. We certainly cannot do this without our community this time around either. We are asking you to surround our family, the birth family, and our sweet new baby with prayers. If you feel called to go beyond prayer and contribute financially to our adoption costs, we would be incredibly grateful.

It may surprise you to find out that private adoption on average can cost $50,000-$60,000 or even more in some cases. This money is used to cover things like medical care and cost of living expenses for the birth mother, agency fees, and legal fees for ourselves and the birth mother(just to name a few).

I am a walking miracle, and we know that through Him, all things are possible. We are so excited to see how God moves and grows our family this time. Whether you choose to buy a T-shirt, donate or pray hard and watch Him move with us, we will be sure to keep you updated on our progress.
