The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is involved in legal proceedings regarding the protection of abused animals in Los Angeles shelters and on the streets. The treatment and killing of animals in Los Angeles city shelters and on city streets must end and we believe Mayor Karen Bass must be held accountable for the protection of animals. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation continues to fund thousands of dollars worth of life saving care for abused and suffering dogs who should not be being abused, bred, starved, beaten or confined to wire crates LAAS provides to their abusers. Karen Bass has not shared any of the dogs the SUFP Foundation has saved on her social media platforms, website or anywhere nor has she donated towards their care.
