An exciting new chapter of Team Borik?n's journey is about to unfold, and my heart is overflowing with joy as I prepare for my third Empire State Ride! This year brings an especially meaningful dimension to our mission, as I'll be riding alongside my dear friends, some joining this incredible adventure for their first time. There's something magical about bringing the warmth and passionate spirit of our beautiful island to this cause ? after all, Puerto Ricans are known for their big hearts, unwavering determination, and the special way we turn every challenge into a celebration of hope and unity.
From July 25 ? August 1, 2026, our expanded Team Borik?n will embark on an ambitious challenge, cycling more than 500 miles from NYC to Niagara Falls. This journey represents more than just a physical endeavor ? it's our family's and our island's united stand in the fight against cancer, a disease that has touched so many lives in our community. Having completed this ride twice before, I can tell you that every mile becomes more meaningful when you're pedaling for a purpose, and this year, sharing the experience with my brothers and fellow team members makes it even more special.
Our purpose remains steadfast: to support Roswell Park, the outstanding cancer research and treatment center in Buffalo, New York. Their dedication to understanding, preventing, and curing cancer through state-of-the-art care and groundbreaking research continues to inspire our mission.
When you support our Empire State Ride, you're empowering Roswell Park's vital work. Every donation directly impacts patient care, fuels innovative research, and brings hope to countless individuals and families affected by cancer. The ripple effect of your generosity extends far beyond the miles we'll ride.
