A new chapter for Team Borik?n is about to begin, and I?m filled with gratitude as I gear up for my fourth Empire State Ride. This year carries special meaning: I?ll be riding alongside my friends, some are taking on this journey for the first time. Sharing this experience with them?and bringing the warmth and spirit of our island to the road?adds a layer of purpose that?s hard to put into words.

From July 25 to August 1, 2025, our growing Team Borik?n will take on more than 500 miles, cycling from New York City to Niagara Falls. It?s a demanding challenge, but it represents something much larger for us. Cancer has touched many families in our community, including our own, and this ride is our way of standing together in that fight. Having completed the route three times now, I can say that every mile takes on deeper meaning when you?re riding for a cause?and sharing it this year with my brothers and teammates makes it all the more powerful.

Our commitment remains the same: supporting Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo. Their work in research, treatment, and prevention continues to drive progress and bring hope to those facing cancer.
