Lucys for Lynn provides dolls to people affected by Alzheimer's.

In honor of Lynn Thomas, Mark Thomas' late wife and Ashley Larochelles mother, we raise funds to purchase dolls and distribute to nursing homes and individuals dealing with Alzheimer?s and other forms of dementia. Our largest doll deliveries occur at Christmas time. We employee a Santa to help deliver the dolls, sing carols, and speak to the residents. We have found that Santa is someone everyone is familiar with no matter what stage the patient is in and he is usually a big hit at the nursing homes.

Doll therapy is a compassionate approach used to support those with dementia and Alzheimer's. We provide dolls to people, particularly those in the middle or late stages, with the aim of fostering comfort, engagement, and quality of life.
