About this campaign

Laura and her fight with ALS

In 2024 my good friend Laura Mitchell-Gonzalez was diagnosed with ALS. One of the first things she did was go out and get a tattoo on her arm so that she could remind herself ?energy never dies.?


No matter how her body chose to take on this disease nothing could ever destroy the essence of Laura. Someone who moved to New York from Texas to peruse a career as a celebrity make up artist, ran the New York marathon, married the love of her life & gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. 


Beyond that was a true friend who has always vigilantly stood up for what she feels is right.


In honor of her I have designed this t-shirt that expresses what she knew well before many of us. That energy truly never dies and the legacy we share lives on in every person we touch. 


All proceeds go to her wife Barbara and daughter Olive as they rebuild.
