In honor of the season that best encapsulates change and the beauty within, we present our Falling Leaves design ? ? named after the Wampanoag word for autumn, taqu?nck.
At the heart of the design stands a traditional Wampanoag winter wet8 (house), surrounded by corn, beans, and squash ? the Three Sisters. These plants have long represented the strength of women and the way we sustain our families and communities. Much like the wet8, they remind us of the warmth and care that women create within their homes and homelands.
As a women-led collective grounded in Wampanoag and Indigenous Mexican traditions, Juniper + Pine Indigenous Collective created this design to celebrate unity, balance, and the enduring strength of Indigenous women. Each purchase supports our ongoing cultural and educational work, helping us continue sharing stories that root us to the land and to one another.
