?We are standing at a critical juncture in Kansas. With the enactment of SB 244 on February 26, 2026, the state has launched an unprecedented attack on the fundamental rights and privacy of transgender Kansans. This legislation has immediately invalidated existing driver?s licenses and birth certificates for those whose gender markers do not align with their sex assigned at birth, with no grace period for compliance. Furthermore, it mandates sex segregation in government-owned or leased facilities?including restrooms and locker rooms?and empowers private citizens to act as vigilantes, suing individuals for damages if they perceive a violation.
?Reclaiming Our Path
?This campaign is a direct response to this state-sanctioned dehumanization. By utilizing the iconic, queer-coded imagery of The Wizard of Oz and the historical signal "Are you a friend of Dorothy?", we are reclaiming these symbols as a rallying cry for solidarity. The "yellow brick road" in our campaign represents a shared journey toward a future where everyone can live authentically and move through public life without fear of harassment or legal persecution.
?Our Mission
?Visibility as Advocacy: Our merchandise is designed to be a conversation starter, fostering awareness and building a community of allies who stand against the discriminatory provisions of SB 244.
?Collective Resilience: We are converting the anxiety caused by this law into organized action, reminding every member of our community that they are not alone.
?Fighting for Recognition: We stand firmly against the invalidation of legal identities and the policing of public spaces, advocating for a Kansas that respects the autonomy and dignity of all its residents.
?The road is ours, too. We invite you to walk with us as we defy these discriminatory barriers and move forward together toward a place of true belonging.
