Our son Shield is an incredible 11 year old who was born with Stickler syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects his vision and connective tissue. Recently, he suffered a retinal detachment and has already undergone eye surgery in an effort to save his sight. His journey isnt over, and he continues to need specialized medical care, follow-up appointments, and treatments. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and travel so we can focus on what matters most- helping him preserve his vision and continue doing what he loves.
