The New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF) provides financial support for anyone living in or traveling to New York who needs help paying for the cost of an abortion Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, NYAAF has seen an unprecedented increase in people who need support paying for their abortion.

• NYAAF is New York?s only abortion fund, servicing one of the most populous and diverse states in the country. As New York expands as an access state, we are seeing even more people traveling here for care.
• NYAAF volunteer case managers provide compassionate support to people facing barriers, misinformation, and stigma, and directly move funds to abortion providers on their behalf to ensure they can access the care they need and deserve.
• Most abortions are paid for out of pocket. The cost of an abortion in New York starts at around $600 and can be as expensive as $22,000 or more.
• Every day, we help callers from states such as Texas and Florida who choose to travel to New York because they have family or other ties to New York. Research from the Society for Family Planning reveals that of the entire Northeast region, New York is seeing the highest increase in abortions following the overturn of Roe due to people traveling from banned and hostile states AND New York has seen the third-highest increase in abortions of every state in the country! 
• In the first two months of 2023, NYAAF already pledged $421,778. You read that right. Nearly half a million dollars in less than two months. If we continue at this rate, we would be on track to move more than 3 million dollars in 2023? nearly triple what we pledged in 2022, and more than six times what we pledged in 2021.
• Currently, 80% of NYAAF?s funding comes from grassroots individual donations, like you!
