The Michael Slater Scholarship was created to honor Michael Slater, a student whose legacy and mission is continued by generous community donors and fundraisers. The scholarship exists to support families and adults who demonstrate financial need to benefit from the Alyssa Burnett Center?s services, classes and programming.
Each year the Michael Slater Scholarship fund provides over $20,000 in financial aid to participants.
At the ABC, the code of conduct is Respect, Include, Support, and Enjoy (RISE). This motto was created by the students and is exemplified each day by the students and staff.
Proceeds from this campaign will go to raising necessary funding, which helps the ABC provide equitable access to our programming.
