The Brave Like McKenna Foundation was established in 2024 in memory of 11-year-old McKenna Royer, who passed away from a rare and aggressive brain tumor called DMG (Diffuse Midline Glioma). Inspired by McKenna?s courage, our foundation is dedicated to supporting families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis through financial assistance, care packages, and emotional support. We advocate for better treatment options and care on the national level and are committed to supporting children and families in the fight.

While brain tumor awareness is for all ages, our mission at Brave Like McKenna is focused on helping children and families navigate the overwhelming challenges of a pediatric diagnosis.
