Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer, yet it remains one of the most underfunded and misunderstood diseases. Too many people still assume it only happens to those with a smoking history. That belief creates stigma, delays diagnosis, and limits funding and empathy.
The White Ribbon Project was created to change the public perception of lung cancer.
Founded by Heidi Nafman-Onda and Pierre Onda in 2020, this grassroots movement has grown to include survivors, caregivers, clinicians, and advocates in all 50 U.S. states and more than 30 countries. Our message is simple:
If you have lungs, you can get lung cancer. And no one deserves it.
This campaign isn?t about raising money. It?s about raising awareness. Every shirt worn helps spread the truth, challenge outdated assumptions, and let people impacted by lung cancer know they are not alone.
We?ve included Bonfire?s women?s v-neck because v-necks are a popular choice for many women. While the fit is more relaxed and the fabric thicker than some are used to, it?s the best option Bonfire currently offers. We appreciate your support in whatever style feels right to you.
