Our mission is to champion the wellbeing of companion animals and strengthen their bond with the people who know, love, and need them. • At the Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC), we partner with municipal shelters and organizations in the state and country to take in dogs and cats that may find their fur-ever home here in Charlotte.
• Did you know HSC was the first low-cost spay/neuter clinic in the Southeast? We offer high-quality, affordable surgeries through our Spay/Neuter Clinic, as well as vaccines and microchipping through our Essential Care Wellness Clinic.
• Our Community Outreach Team provides pet crisis support to those in need through the HSC Pet Food Bank, housing assistance, and medical and dog training vouchers.
• Our Education Team hosts programs and learning experiences to both children and adults. These programs encourage animal advocacy, foster compassion, and teach responsibility and respect for animals, people, and the planet.
