Alex was a 13-year-old boy whose laughter, sarcasm, and dimples could light up any room. During his fight with cancer, gaming wasn?t just a pastime?it was his escape, his connection with his sister, and his way of staying joyful even on the hardest days.
We want to honor Alex?s legacy by bringing that same joy to kids currently in treatment at Children?s Hospital Colorado.
Our first goal is to raise $25,000 to build a Mobile Gaming Cart in Alex?s name. These portable carts are stocked with the latest consoles, laptops, and games so that kids undergoing treatment can play right at their bedside?even during long chemotherapy sessions. At this level, Alex?s name will be permanently recognized on a room within the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Colorado Springs.
This is just the beginning. Alex?s bigger dream is to see a state-of-the-art Makerspace ($500,000)?a creative, high-tech playroom where kids and teens can escape their medical challenges and find joy, connection, and imagination.
Every donation, big or small, helps us bring Alex?s dream to life: giving children in treatment laughter, play, and moments of normalcy in the middle of the fight.
? Hope after loss. Joy in the fight. ?
