We have come a long way since 1924, when an initiative by the Ho-Ho-Kus Women's Club led to the creation of a library. With nowhere else to go, the original home for the library was an unused jail cell for ?female malefactors? in Borough Hall.
For several decades, the library had a building on Franklin Turnpike. In 1988, Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library opened its current location in the former home of Mildreth Worth Pinkham, who bequeathed the building to the Borough.
In various locations and forms, the library has been a resource for Ho-Ho-Kus residents for 100 years, guided by many tenacious women. Your support will ensure that the library can provide lifelong learning opportunities for future generations to come.
