?? Hunter & Katie Alexander, Their Story
If you know Hunter Alexander, you know he has a heart built for service. As a lineworker, he has spent countless hours, days, nights, weekends, holidays, up in a bucket, in the rain, in the wind, in the cold, doing whatever it took to keep power on for families he didn?t even know. That?s just who Hunter is. He shows up. Every single time.
During Winter Storm Fern in Louisiana, Hunter was once again doing what he always does: putting others first. In the middle of dangerous storm conditions, he was injured while working to restore power. What should have been a routine assignment turned into a moment that changed everything for him and his wife, Katie.
Hunter is now unable to work as he focuses on recovering. And while he fights every day to heal, the reality is that life doesn?t pause for injuries. The medical bills, the travel costs, and the everyday expenses all keep coming, right at a time when their income has suddenly dropped.
Hunter and Katie are doing their best to stay strong, but they are carrying a weight no couple should have to carry alone.
? Why We?re Raising Support
This fundraiser is our way of stepping in for Hunter and Katie the way Hunter has stepped in for so many others. Every shirt purchased helps lift a little bit of that burden by supporting:
- Medical and recovery expenses
- Household bills while Hunter is out of work
- Travel and follow-up appointments
- Extra costs that show up when life changes overnight
? Who They Are
Hunter is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Katie is the steady, loving force beside him, supporting him through every step of this journey. Together, they are incredibly grateful for every prayer, donation, share, and message of encouragement.
They didn?t ask for this storm, but they aren?t walking through it alone.
By showing up for Hunter and Katie, we remind them that community is stronger than any hardship. Thank you for standing with them, loving them, and helping them heal.
