The Midwife Center, southwestern PA's only licensed, freestanding birth center, is approaching our 10,000th birth since we opened in 1982 - a milestone that only a few birth centers in the U.S. have reached. This milestone represents so much for our team, our community, and every person whose birth is one of 10,000.
Even as we celebrate our milestone 10,000th birth, we?re already preparing for the next. To our next 10,000 moms and birthing clients: we promise to be a peaceful, safe, welcoming home for you, your baby, and your family.
