This collection is meant to unite people who want to show support for Minnesota as it faces intense federal immigration enforcement led by the Trump administration. Since late 2025, the state has been the site of Operation Metro Surge, a large federal immigration operation involving thousands of agents deployed to the Twin Cities area. The campaign has drawn national attention after the fatal shooting of Minneapolis resident Renee Good by an ICE officer and ongoing community protests and legal challenges.

According to nonpartisan research, Minnesota?s undocumented immigrant population is smaller than many states, estimated at roughly 1.5?2.2% of total residents, less than half the national average share. These community members are neighbors, coworkers, students, and families who contribute to Minnesota?s cultural and economic life.

We are the blue in red, white, and blue. Like our state bird, the loon, and like our lakes that touch every corner of this land, we value connection, dignity, and shared humanity. This work is an expression of pride, solidarity, and commitment to a Minnesota that protects its people and leads with compassion.
