Girls With Guts is not what we have made it, but a living, breathing sisterhood that is built on your strength and spirit.

Your contributions in 2019 so far have allowed us to:

• Send out nearly 500 ?I Gotta Go? Cards to help women advocate for themselves during restroom emergencies
• Send out 85 Butt Baskets to women who have just undergone pouch or ostomy surgery
• Send 36 women to one of our retreats at no cost to them
• Host two retreats in the same year for the first time (New Attendee and Annual) 
• Table at our first national conference (UOAA) and spread the word about GWG by distributing over 1,200 brochures to patients and clinicians

In 2020, we plan to:

• Continue to send out free ?I Gotta Go? Cards on demand to women in the United States and Canada 
• Overhaul our Butt Basket program to expand access (increase the number of qualifying situations) and self-care items included
• Host our second, fully-funded New Attendee Retreat for another 30 women new to GWG
• Offer a minimum of three scholarships to our 2020 Annual Retreat
• Table at Digestive Disease Week, allowing us the opportunity to network within a meeting of nearly 15,000 health care professionals and industry leaders in gastroenterology
