Autistic Pride Day isn?t just something you attend ? it?s something the community helps create.
This design, ?Still Standing,? by Devin Van Winkle, is part of our community T-shirt series supporting the first Autistic Pride Day celebration in the Southeast. Instead of running a design contest, we invited artists and community members to share original artwork that reflects autistic pride, creativity, and lived experience.
Devin is a member of Autistic Pride Chattanooga, and his design captures a powerful message of resilience. ?Still Standing? speaks to the strength it takes for autistic people to exist authentically in a world that often asks us to shrink, conform, or disappear. It?s a reminder that autistic people are still here, still proud, and still building community together.
Every shirt purchased helps support the event itself ? funding the spaces, accessibility supports, and community programming that make Autistic Pride Day possible.
When you wear this shirt, you?re not just wearing a design.
You?re helping build something the community created together.
