Hi Thram! It?s your resident threads poet/activist/fellow human being here to turn words into weapons and generate funds to donate to the Ohio Immigrants Alliance in honor of Pierre Damas Bel. A 20-year-old student who should be alive right now, but died by suicide after being terrorized and targeted by our government and i.c.e.

Pierre was treated like a criminal and forced to wear an ankle monitor, after which he was no longer able to play soccer. (Due to travel radius) His dreams of coming to America and building a life of value were cut short by the racist policies of our government.

May we refuse to normalize these horrors and the racism that took Pierre from this world too soon.

May we build a better world free of leaders who encourage racism, imprisonment, and ankle monitors to break the spirits of our most vulnerable communities.

A world where all of our Haitian neighbors are safe.
