The Juan Fern?ndez Archipelago is recognized as a global biodiversity hotspot, home to an extraordinary number of endemic species found nowhere else on Earth, both on land and in the surrounding ocean. Yet these fragile ecosystems face growing threats, including habitat loss, degradation, and the spread of invasive species.

Since 2000, we have partnered with the local community to research and monitor threatened species, and to restore habitats through hands-on conservation efforts. Together, we?re working to prevent the extinction of emblematic species such as the Juan Fern?ndez Firecrown, the Masafuera Rayadito, and the six seabird species that nest on these remarkable islands.
