On October 6th, Shannon reached out to me with heartbreaking news about her grandson, Baby Rayden Honeycutt. The photos she shared showed bruises on his tiny legs, and it was clear something was terribly wrong. After filing a police report, Rayden's dad was arrested, and the sweet baby was rushed to the hospital. The initial diagnosis was devastating: a head injury, five broken bones, and bruises. Vanderbilt Children's further revealed three skull fractures, brain bleeds, and multiple broken ribs and bones. 

Shannon is now the primary caregiver of Rayden, a 2-month-old with a long road of recovery ahead. This innocent baby has endured more pain than most of us can imagine.
