A message from Ollie, the organizer of this campaign: As an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia on the pre-veterinary track, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible comfort that animals can bring to people in difficult times. My journey with Camp Kesem began when a friend introduced me to the organization, and I was immediately drawn to their mission of supporting children who are facing a parent's cancer diagnosis. The compassion and hope that Camp Kesem brings to these families inspired me to get involved and find new ways to help. 

With my background working with animals, I realized that a therapy dog program could offer even more support to these children during such a challenging period. That?s why I am launching Kesem K-9s?a program dedicated to bringing therapy dogs to Camp Kesem events and summer camps. These specially trained dogs, provided by CAREing Paws, will help create moments of comfort, joy, and healing for kids who need it most. 

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward supporting Camp Kesem?s summer camps, CAREing Paws? therapy dog services, and the creation of merchandise to help sustain the program.
