Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR) launched a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Mike Alfaro, creator of the hit game Millennial Loter?a, to release a limited-edition Repro Justice Warrior card. The digital Millennial Loter?a campaign aims to spark conversation, educate communities, and drive civic engagement among Latines in Colorado.
The collaboration reimagines classic loter?a imagery through a civic lens, connecting the roles of elected officials to their real-world impact on Latine families in Colorado ? from health care and education to jobs, immigration, and the environment. Designed to be fun, culturally resonant, and shareable, the campaign makes civic education accessible and relevant to a new generation.
?Reproductive justice lives where care, culture, and democracy meet,? said Dusti Gurule, President and CEO of COLOR. ?This collaboration makes government feel personal, so a young person in Greeley or a mom in Pueblo can say, ?I get it, and I?m in,?. When our communities recognize themselves in the process and have the tools to act we move from surviving to thriving.?
"Millennial Loter?a is about reflecting the world around us,? said Mike Alfaro, creator of Millennial Loter?a. ?Partnering with COLOR to create this card through a civic lens felt natural ? together, we?re showing that civic engagement can be joyful, creative, and uniquely Latino.?
