Life After the Impact and Project Reach is a 501(c)(3) organization as well as a podcast aimed at supporting families who have been impacted by the trauma of losing loved ones to law enforcement violence. The podcast provides a platform for these families to share their stories and increase community awareness.
The podcast also encourages listener involvement in the actions these families are pursuing for accountability and justice.
The REACH Project. Under the REACH Project (Researching Executive Law & Advocating for Constitutional Human Rights), Benton and Johnson aim to bring about systemic changes by understanding the community's needs and researching criminal and civil executive laws at the county, state, and federal levels. This research will help identify the laws that directly affect citizens' daily lives in relation to police brutality. With a focus on exercising constitutional human rights, REACH aims to empower individuals and communities to hold accountable those responsible for violating these rights. By providing information and resources, they will assist affected communities in navigating the legal system and seeking justice. Through their efforts, Benton and Johnson are working towards creating a more just and accountable society, where systemic change can be achieved by addressing the issues surrounding police brutality and advocating for constitutional human rights
